How to Connect Your Xbox or Chromecast to a University WiFi Network (MAC OR PC)

Yo yo yo yo yo

Been a while since I made a video so excuse my “umm” and “uh”. Made this how-to because when I got to Uni here in New Zealand I couldn’t connect to the WiFi, so I figured out how to do it for free using my laptop.

One video I could not find though is how to get your Mac to broadcast WiFi to WiFi so your Xbox could connect. Well, here it is!

Unfortunately, Macs do not support WiFi to WiFi sharing so Windows must be used, but it’s pretty easy to do with Boot Camp. If you have a Mac and want to learn how to put Boot Camp onto it, just Google it – there are tons of articles and videos out there.

This is perfect for businesses, hotels, university dorms and other places that you can’t access WiFi using an Xbox but you CAN by using a laptop.

When I went on Reddit and forums all the recommendations were to just change the MAC address of my Xbox, but this doesn’t work for a lot of networks that use, especially WPA Enterprise networks.
