Overview
From Thailand’s largest city, Bangkok to Hat Yai, the largest city in the south Thailand. I rented a private sleeping compartment on the State Railway of Thailand’s sleeper train and enjoyed a comfortable journey while enjoying the scenery from the window.
The 50 baht train ride from Hat Yai to Padang Besar, the border between Thailand and Malaysia, was a great way to enjoy the scenery outside while breathing in the clean air of southern Thailand.
From Padang Besar to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s largest city, enjoy business class on the country’s most luxurious train.
A two-day, one-night train trip that takes you around the atmosphere of both Thailand and Malaysia.
Watch this video to find out how to get from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur by train as of September 2024.
